Eucalyptus, and other varieties of the Myrtaceae family, is an evergreen plant, native to Australia, observed for the first time by a French botanist in 1792 and introduced into Italy at the end of the 18th century.
This is a honey with particular characteristics, not appreciated by everyone, due to its not very sweet notes. Often used in cooking to enrich vinaigrettes or sweet and sour sauces. Nothing prevents you from consuming it as is or trying it spread on bread and butter.
COLOR: Light amber to amber
SMELL: characteristic animal type, reminiscent of dried mushrooms and liquorice
FLAVOUR: sweet, slightly acidic with barely perceptible bitter notes
AROMA: recalls the smell, reminds of licorice mou sweets
